Basic Blues for Guitar uses 37 exercises and tunes in all styles of blues, from rural fingerpicking to modern electric, to give guitarists a full education into blues guitar. The book has music notation, tablature and chord grids for each tune. Lead and rhythm parts are written separately, and scales, chords, progressions and blues licks are diagrammed. The book does not have its accompanying CD.
