This Meinl 16" Classics Custom Dark Trash China Cymbal delivers a dark, trashy china sound with a sharp attack and fast decay, thanks to strategically placed holes that shorten the sustain . You get a cymbal crafted from durable B12 bronze alloy in Germany, featuring a unique dark finish that is part of the manufacturing process and will not wear off over time . The cymbal has a thin weight, a mid-dark timbre, and a low-mid pitch, with a wide blade lathe and extra deep hammering that add warmth and tonal complexity while drying out the sound .
Strike this cymbal and you will hear an aggressive yet dark, warm sound with a medium volume that cuts through dense guitar mixes without sounding choked or ringy . The trash china is ideal for metal, rock, pop, fusion, and studio applications, making it a versatile choice for power players . The flanged edge gives you a smooth stick feel, and you can also use it as part of a cymbal stack configuration for even more creative effects . This cymbal from Meinl's acclaimed Classics Custom Dark series will add a serious punch to your setup.
