The Zildjian Sound Effects Trashformer 8" Splash Cymbal is a unique and radical effects cymbal designed for sharp, unconventional textures. Part of the creative Sound Effects series, it features a small 8-inch size with a distorted, wavy shape and multiple drilled holes. This design produces an extremely fast, trashy, and complex burst of sound with a gritty attack and almost no sustain, making it perfect for tight, explosive accents, quick fills, and experimental percussion. Its compact size allows it to be mounted in tight spaces on any drum set.
This effects cymbal shows typical play wear including stick marks and patina, but its wild, distinctive sonic character remains fully intact. The unique shape and holes function as designed, delivering that instantly recognizable, trashy "splat" effect.
